The Stimulators

presented by Sir Oliver Mally’s Blues Distillery

Wednesday, 14th August, 19:00, Mariahilferplatz

A memorable night in the midst of blues, Latin, soul and reggae.
Latino beats, groovy ska, jazzy trumpet solos, catchy refrains, smoky vocals, blues guitars – this describes the sound of the Munich-based band The Stimulators – the coolest combination of groove from the south of the USA, Caribbean flair, Latin American fire and blues feeling. The musical melting pot, also known as The Stimulators, was founded by Peter Schneider in 1998 and has been inspired by Fela Kuti or James Brown, who they had the honour to be the support act for. Seven CDs and a short film are on their release list and more than thousands gigs have been played so far in Europe and the USA.
