Sometimes we are at loss for words, maybe from fear, maybe from confusion or because we don’t know the regional language. The alien stays alien when you are lost for words in everyday situations. At Spoken Poetry the slammers are hardly lost for words but they also explore strange environments when they are looking for their own distinctive language to make the audience theirs with their lyrics that are being rapped, sung or just read. This special evening is reserved for slammers to tell their stories in their mother tongues or dialects. The remarkable thing about this slam is that slammers are on the stage together and not against each other.
